Talked to the landlord. He wanted a $200 pet fee, NONrefundable and $20 a month for the cat.
He also had a comprehensive list of requirements (vet certification, tags, pet must not run loose, owner must take care of pet, that sort of thing.)
I talked him down to $100, refundable and no pet rent.
